Who I am
Hi, I’m Anna.
If you’re looking for a perfectly polished wellness expert who floats around speaking only in whispers, I’m probably not your person.
I’ve spent nearly two decades teaching and studying the body, and what I know is this: healing doesn’t happen because you “calm down” or try harder. It happens when your nervous system finally feels safe enough to soften. When you learn how to stay with yourself as the ground shifts.
I’m a Chicago native—direct, warm, sharp-tongued when needed. I don’t have much tolerance for spiritual bypassing or productivity disguised as healing. I hold space with steadiness for what’s real—rage, grief, numbness, ambition, tenderness, joy.
I’ve lived through anxiety, burnout, depression, and the quiet ache of looking successful on the outside while feeling disconnected on the inside. I know what it’s like to do everything “right” and still feel unsatisfied. Nervous system work isn’t something I mastered and packaged up. It’s something I practice. Daily. Imperfectly. And it’s an honor to practice alongside you.
My background as a massage therapist and pelvic health physical therapist assistant means my work is deeply body-based. I understand anatomy, pain, inflammation, and the way chronic overdrive reshapes posture, breath, digestion, and self-trust. Everything I offer is trauma-aware, grounded in physiology, and rooted in helping your system move from quiet vigilance toward steadiness.
When I’m not teaching, you’ll find me wandering forest trails, brewing tea with foraged herbs, listening to Björk, Nine Inch Nails, or Tori Amos, and snuggling my pitbull.
